360 RAIN

Boost Your Yield with the Perfect Crop Irrigation System

Still praying for that perfect half-inch of rain?

We know your farm needs water and nutrients to maximize crop yield, and the 360 RAIN won’t disappoint you. This innovative crop irrigation system is designed to provide the perfect amount of water and nutrients just when and where your crops need it.

PASI has always brought cutting-edge agro solutions to farmers in Ohio and neighboring states, and 360 RAIN adds another feather to our cap. With 360 RAIN, your farm will be efficient like never before.

How 360 RAIN Works

360 RAIN is a three-wheeled, autonomous crop irrigation system with a 60-foot boom and Y-DROP style hoses. Powered by a diesel-electric drive, it uses a 3,000-foot hose with a 3-inch diameter to irrigate up to 200 acres.

You can operate 360 RAIN through cellular and dedicated RTK networks. It moves up and down along the rows created by your planter. The machine can go wherever your planter goes, making it easy to irrigate irregularly shaped fields.

It draws water from a well or reservoir while laying out and retrieving the hose using a vertical reel and advanced sensor systems. 360 RAIN can move at a speed of 0.45 mph, enough to apply over 2,000,000 gallons of water per week over an 80-acre field from a well with a flow rate of just 215 gallons per minute.

Technical Specifications

360 RAIN consists of four core systems:

Drive System

This smart irrigation machine runs on a 24-horsepower diesel engine. And since it comes with a 300-gallon fuel tank to power the entire assembly, 360 RAIN can work through the season with only a couple of refills.

Irrigation System

The irrigation system comes in two specifications. The 60-foot boom with 12 Y-DROP hoses is more suitable for 30” rows made using 24-row planters. On the other hand, the 80-foot boom with 16 Y-DROP hoses is a good fit for 30” rows made using 16-row planters.

Hose System

360 RAIN works without damaging your crops. The dispenser uses multiple sensors to measure ground speed, reel speed, and turn radius, making it possible to lay out and retrieve the hose without damaging your crops and wrap it evenly on the wheel.

Communication System

It uses a dedicated GPS and cellular communication system. The GPS planted on the machine records planter paths and relays them to the base station. These paths are then transferred to your 360 RAIN for precise irrigation. You can also use the system with the 360 RAIN mobile app.

Benefits of 360 RAIN

360 RAIN is nothing short of futuristic irrigation technology. It offers a few unique features that you cannot find in any other irrigation systems, including center pivots.

Lower Water Demand

Conserving our precious natural source becomes a lot easier thanks to the precision irrigation offered by 360 RAIN. The machine can work with a well supplying just 250 gallons per minute, which is roughly 50% of the volume required for center pivot systems.

Precise Irrigation:

Precision is at the heart of 360 RAIN’s design. The machine can deliver water, nutrients, and manure through the Y-DROP hoses in 15” band, directly over the root zone. This means your crops get more nutrition precisely where they need it.

Eliminates Manuring Costs:

Hog and dairy farms can use 360 RAIN to empty pits and lagoons during the growing season and use this nutrient-rich liquid manure to boost yield. We provide custom irrigation systems with a manure bucket and impeller that suits your requirements.

Works Anywhere:

Irrigating irregularly shaped fields can be a challenge. But with this crop irrigation system, you can water small farms, irregularly shaped fields, fields with obstacles, or large fields, making it a smart alternative to center pivots.

Practical Design

360 RAIN is designed with your practical irrigation needs in mind. It comes with a seven-foot clearance under the frame and 10' under booms, making it ideal for watering your crops throughout the season.

Wide Coverage

From small fields to anything as large as 200 acres, this machine offers a wide coverage. It has a maximum hose length of 3,000 feet, which is suitable for a 200-acre field. Plus, the smart system lays out and rolls the hose in without damaging your crops.

Performance-Driven Design

360 RAIN is a performance-driven precision irrigation solution that can help you quickly recover your initial investment.

Increased Yields: With precise irrigation and nutrient delivery, crops like corn can see a yield increase of 30 bushels per acre, valued at around $180 per acre.

Reduced Manure Application Costs: This crop irrigation system can help eliminate the need for costly custom manure spreading in the fall, saving $150 per acre.

Reduced Nitrogen Usage: 360 RAIN optimizes nitrogen usage, reducing the need for purchased nitrogen by 80 lbs per acre, saving $80 per acre in input costs.

This means you can break even in as little as 3.35 years, with an annual revenue boost of $410 per acre.

We had our 8320 ECU rewritten and are so happy we did! Tanner took the tractor from 260hp up to 305hp and it is a world of difference. We are pulling our digger faster at less rpm and can't wait to see what it will do on our vertical till!

Just put it (Ag Leader InCommand 1200 with ISO serial bridge) to the test. Everything works really well. Each boom sections on and off, in and out of multiple different paint zones. Pretty sweet deal!

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes, 360 RAIN is designed to handle different terrains, including hills and side slopes. But like all agricultural equipment, we recommend not using it in extreme weather such as thunderstorms.

Yes, 360 RAIN can work with various crops, including corn, soybean, and forage crops like alfalfa. You can customize its water and nutrient delivery system depending on the crop.

Yes, you can integrate 360 RAIN with existing farm management systems as it operates with GPS and cellular technology.

Yes, 360 RAIN can work on any farm, including small, irregular-shaped fields and fields with obstacles. It is customizable to fit the unique layout of your farm.

With proper maintenance, 360 RAIN can last for many years.

The cost will depend on the size and customization required for your farm. While initial investment may seem high, increased yield can help you offset it in three and a half years. For details, please speak with our sales team.

We aim to set up the system as quickly as possible. However, since installation depends on the size and layout of your farm, we might need a few days or weeks to get it up and running.

The installation requirements for 360 RAIN include access to a water source capable of supplying around 200-250 gallons per minute and 115 PSI pressure. You’ll also need a 110V AC power source to run the base station, as well as GPS and cellular communication capabilities.

360 RAIN is low maintenance, but it requires basic upkeep. We recommend regularly checking the water supply, hose, and electrical components, while a professional tune-up is necessary at least once a year.
